Welcome to the French-Romanian Law College of European Studies

The French-Romanian Law College of European Studies is the fruit of a rich scientific cooperation between the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, the University of Bucharest and twelve prestigious French universities members of its supporting Consortium

Strongly supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, the French Embassy in Bucharest and the French Institute of Romania, the Law College offers courses with a duration of 3 to 5 years, with double degrees Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne - Bucharest (Bachelor’s degree, Master 1, Master 2), which can be supplemented with PhD studies (within the College's Doctoral and Postdoctoral Institute).
Located within the Law school of the University of Bucharest, the College of Law welcomes, on average, 250 students per year. The graduates are now lawyers (usually within renowned Romanian or international firms), judges, corporate lawyers, or they - a quarter of them - have integrated the highest functions in public administration, in Romania (Foreign affairs, Minsitry of Justice...) as well as in international or european organisations. Others integrated, as professors and researchers, the most famous universities in Romania, France and elsewhere (King's College London, Boston University...).

As an official recognition of the academic and scientific success of the French - Romanian Law College of European Studies, the President of Romania decorated the College for the second time in May 2015, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.
